BEd Eligibility Criteria
Arts & Science Graduate.

General candidate 50% mark aggregate in bachelor degree & SC,ST,PH, SEBC should have 45% Mark aggregate in bachelor degree with two school Subjects minimum 200 mark of each.

The Science Graduate candldates should have passed Graduation at least With two school subjects (Wlth not less than 200 marks each) out of Physics, Chemistry. Mathematics, Botany, Zoology. Biotechnology. Computer Scuence and Geography

The Candidates claiming reservation for PCM subject must have studied all the concorned subject i… Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of minimum 200 mark each at their Graduation level.

The arts graduate candidates having any two language subjects at their Graduation level can not claim as having two schools subjects. All the language subjects viz English / Odia / Hindi / Sanskrit studied as compulsory / pass / honours / electives shall be treated as one subject. For becoming eligible for B.Ed. Course, Language subject is not compulsory, if the candidate does not want a reservation of seats in either English or Odia. The candidates must have studied any two (02) school subjects from the following : English / Odia / Hindi / Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics. Indian Economy, Political Science, Public Administration Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, Mathematics of 200 marks each

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce or Shastri(Sanskrit) Degree with two school subjects as Honours/ Elective/ Pass/ Optional (list of school subjects at annexure-I) from a recognised university having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates) AND
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a NCTE Recognised Institution.
OR
Four year integrated B.A.B.Ed from NCTE recognised Institution with two school subjects as Honours/ Elective/ Pass/ Optional having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SCI ST /PH / SEBC candidates).

TGT Science
Bachelor’s Degree in science with two schools subject as Honours/ Elective/ Pass/ Optional (list of school subjects at annexure-I) from a recognised university having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates).

AND
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a NCTE Recognised Institution.

OR

Four year integrated B.Sc.B.Ed from a NCTE Recognised Institution with two school subjects as Honours/ Elective/ Pass/ Optional having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates).

Four year Integrated BA.BEd from a NCT E recognized Institution with two school subjects(school subjects as defined in the proviso here under)having 50% marks in aggregate(45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates)

Provided that :
In any case the candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree with two school subjects (with not less than 200 marks each) as the following:
A) Language subjects like English and Odia offered as a Hons/Pass/Elective/Compulsory subject shall be treated as one school subject and

B) another subject shall be considered from the subjects like History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, offered as Pass/Hons/EIective/optional subject

Bachelor Degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E with two school subjects(school subjects as defined in the proviso here under)from a recognized university having 50% marks in aggregate(45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) and Bachelor in Education(8. Ed) from a NCT E recognized Institution

OR
Four year Integrated B. Sc .B.Ed from a NCT E recegnized Institution with two school subjects(school subjects as defined in the proviso here under)having 50% marks in aggregate(45%for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates)
Provided that :
In any case the candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree with two school subjects (with not less than 200 marks each) as the following

A) For Trained Graduate Teacher-Science(PCM):any two out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as elective/optionaI/Honours/pass subjects

B) For Trained Graduate Teacher-Science(CBZ) : any two out of Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology as elective/optional/Honours/pass subjects
